Kent R. Kelly Lifetime Achievement Award
Award Requirements
The Kent R. Kelly Lifetime Achievement Award recognizes the lifetime accomplishments and contributions of trailblazers in the general aviation industry. It is the highest honor bestowed upon an individual by the Aviation Distributors and Manufacturers Association (ADMA). The Award is named in honor of Mr. Kent R. Kelly, Founder and Chairman of Kelly Aerospace, based on his contributions to the general aviation industry. Mr. Kelly has advanced general aviation through lasting contributions in leadership, development, and philanthropy in the general aviation industry throughout his career.
Eligibility
To be eligible for the Kent Kelly Lifetime Achievement Award, nominees must meet the following criteria:
- Have 35 or more years of experience in the general aviation industry
- Have served in a leadership and/or executive capacity for a general aviation company
- Have made significant, documentable contributions to the advancement of sustainability in general aviation over their lifetime
Process
ADMA members are invited to nominate individuals they feel are deserving of a Lifetime Achievement Award. Applications, in the form of a nomination, must include a detailed description of the nominee’s contributions to the general aviation community and be submitted through the official online nomination form. Nominations will remain on file and will be considered in each of the next three award cycles after submission. Self-nominations are not accepted. ADMA reserves the right to make the final selection and determine the timeframe for awarding award winners.
Prize
The Kent Kelly Lifetime Achievement Award winner receives:
- One complimentary registration to the ADMA Annual Conference in the year they receive the award
- Recognition during the ADMA Awards Dinner
- Photo and bio on the Kent Kelly Lifetime Achievement Award webpage on the ADMA website
- A Lifetime Achievement Award plaque
